A 12-year-old boy was injured when his right forearm became trapped in a bowling-ball return machine while he was bowling at the clubhouse of Shun Long Bay housing estate in To Kwa Wan on August 27. Firefighters attended the scene and freed him.
The incident happened around noon, although one report gave the more specific time as 12.56pm. The boy’s right forearm was reported to be swollen or reddened after he was released.
He was taken by ambulance to Queen Elizabeth Hospital for treatment, with one report saying he was accompanied by relatives or friends.
