Corrections policy
When we get something materially wrong, we aim to correct it promptly, clearly and in the place readers encountered it.
How corrections work
We review reported errors against the underlying sources. Material factual corrections are made to the article and should be accompanied by a clear correction note describing what changed.
Minor spelling, grammar or formatting fixes that do not change the meaning may be made without a correction note.
Request a correction
Email corrections@newsdesk.hk with the article link, the specific passage you believe is wrong and any supporting evidence. We will assess the request; submitting one does not guarantee a change.
