A 19-year-old man died after falling from a high location at Kam Do Centre, 745–747 Nathan Road, in the Mong Kok/Prince Edward area during the early hours of August 29, 2026.
The timing was reported differently: Star Headline said the incident was reported at 2.54am, while Ming Pao put it at around 2am. A family member reported the fall. One report identified the caller as the victim’s father, while the other said a man surnamed Luk had reported that his 19-year-old son had fallen.
Responders found the man on a building platform and took him by ambulance to Kwong Wah Hospital for emergency treatment. The reports differed on his condition when he was found, describing him as either still breathing and with a pulse or semi-conscious.
He later died at the hospital. Police reportedly found no suicide note at the scene, while the cause of death was pending determination after an autopsy, according to Ming Pao.
The precise time of the fall, the confirmed cause of death and the circumstances leading to it remained unclear in the supplied reports.
