Police said a 19-year-old woman found unconscious at a home in Telford Gardens, Kowloon Bay, on September 30 was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police received a report at about 6pm that she had collapsed at the home on Wai Yip Street. Rescue personnel found her unconscious in the living room, where medicine packaging was also found.
No suicide note was recovered. Police are treating the case as suicide provisionally, while an autopsy is expected to determine the cause of death. The woman was reportedly troubled by academic and emotional problems.
