A coach carrying pupils struck the rear of a KMB route 290A bus on a downhill stretch of New Clear Water Bay Road on the afternoon of October 20.
Initial reports put the number injured at about eight, with four people on each vehicle. Two schoolchildren were among those injured. Some lanes on the road were closed during the response, the Transport Department said.
The vice-principal of S.K.H. Kowloon Bay Kei Lok Primary School said the two pupils had no visible injuries but were taken to United Christian Hospital for checks on medical advice.
The other pupils were checked and found well, then taken home safely in another coach, the vice-principal said.
