A female cleaning worker collapsed while working on a hillside outside Shek Chun House, Shek Lei Estate, at 16 Lei Pei Street in Kwai Chung at about 1.40pm on August 17, 2026.
Ambulance crew found her semi-conscious and took her to Princess Margaret Hospital. She later regained consciousness.
A co-worker accompanied her to hospital and said the pair had just eaten lunch before returning to work when the woman suddenly collapsed. The co-worker also said they were employed by an outsourced cleaning company and had been responsible for cleaning the site for about a year.
Police are investigating the cause of the incident.
