A fire broke out in a first-floor flat in Choi Ngan House at Choi Po Court, Sheung Shui, at nearly 5pm on October 22. About 150 residents were evacuated, and no one was injured.
Fire services forced their way into the flat and put out the fire.
Fire services believe the householder had left an LPG stove on after cooking and gone downstairs to buy groceries, with the fire starting while they were away. The investigation found no suspicious cause.
