A fire damaged Tai Wong Ye Temple (Wong Chuk Hang) on 20 October. No one was injured.

Police received reports of smoke and fire at about 11.41pm. Fire services extinguished the blaze at 11.51pm. The temple’s corridor and incense area were affected, and a nearby metal rack was blackened.

Fire services’ preliminary investigation suspected that an ember from incense ignited the rack.
