A 44-year-old man suffered head injuries in an alleged attack involving an iron bar and glass bottles outside a building at 30 Minden Avenue, Tsim Sha Tsui, at 4.51am on September 29. He was conscious when police and rescue personnel took him to Queen Elizabeth Hospital for treatment.
At about 6.30am, officers stopped a suspected seven-seater vehicle near the entrance to the Tseung Kwan O Tunnel. Five men aged between 28 and 39 were arrested on suspicion of assault.
Two other suspected participants remained at large as police continued investigating the case.
