The Water Supplies Department said flushing-water supply to Cheung Wang Estate was restored at 8am on 25 September, after emergency repairs to a burst pipe.
The pipe burst the previous morning at a pedestrian-tunnel roadworks site on Liu To Road, Tsing Yi. The department identified it as a saltwater pipe used to supply flushing water.
