Four unattended dogs damaged a parked private car outside 18 Fu Shing Street in Tuen Mun in the early hours of 23 September, leaving scratches on the vehicle and damage to its front bumper.
A circulated 36-second video showed a yellow dog repeatedly biting and pulling at the bumper. Another dog climbed partly on to the bonnet while the others moved around the car.
A woman reported the incident to police at 3.31am. Officers arrived about 10 minutes later, inspected the vehicle and contacted its owner for follow-up. Police classified the case as involving stray animals.
The dogs moved away when a police vehicle appeared and could not enter a nearby residential estate because an iron gate blocked the entrance.
