The High Court is hearing allegations that L.H.C.N. had sex with his younger sister four times and committed grossly indecent acts against her on three other occasions when she was aged between seven and 10. The alleged incidents took place in a Hong Kong residential flat between 2 September 2013 and 17 July 2016.
L.H.C.N., now 24, denies four counts of incest and three counts of committing gross indecency with a child under 16. The prosecution’s allegations have not been determined by the court.

The court also heard the defendant’s account in a recorded interview. He said his admission referred to having sexual intercourse with his sister and recalled inserting his penis into her vagina. He claimed she had consented, denied forcing her and said: “I did not rape her.” These were his claims and have not been accepted as established facts by the court.
L.H.C.N. said he initiated the first sexual encounter, while his sister initiated some later encounters. He also said she did not resist during the alleged intercourse, oral sex and masturbation incidents. The precise circumstances of the alleged acts remain matters for the trial.
The defendant further claimed that his sister later told him an older brother had behaved similarly, and that the brother admitted it when he asked him. He also said she developed suicidal feelings and self-harmed in 2020 before telling a social worker during treatment. These accounts were attributed to the defendant and were not independently confirmed in the reports supplied.
