The prosecution also played footage of Y.L.H.’s recorded police interview on September 6, 2023, concerning allegations by complainant C. He denied touching C’s thigh or breasts and denied the alleged incident in a private car. C had reportedly alleged that he touched several parts of her body and continued after she asked him not to, an account he disputes.
In the interview, Y.L.H. said he would not suddenly touch or kiss a woman, and that intimate conduct would require mutual attraction and consent. He also said he was a civil servant, that the vehicle was registered in his name and that he would not risk losing his job. He further said he had no need to molest women he regarded as ordinary; this was reported as his statement during the interview, not as an established fact about any complainant.
