Hong Kong Airlines has cancelled flight HX658 from Hong Kong to Okinawa and HX659 from Okinawa to Hong Kong on 22 October, the airline announced.

The airline warned that Hong Kong–Taipei flights from 22 to 24 October might be delayed or cancelled. HK01 reported that the services were operating normally at the time of its report.

For affected tickets with confirmed seats, Hong Kong Airlines has waived handling fees for rebooking, changing the destination or obtaining a refund.

Eligible passengers can apply through the airline website’s special ticket arrangements. Passengers who booked through a travel agency or joined a tour group should contact the relevant travel agency for help with their tickets.
