The Hong Kong Tourism Board’s Wine & Dine Festival will run from October 29 to November 1, spreading from the Central Harbourfront Event Space into Tamar Park. More than 340 stalls are planned, including debut pavilions from Australia, Canada and South Korea.
The festival opens from 7.30pm to midnight on October 29. On October 30 and 31, it runs from 1pm until 1am; on November 1, it closes at midnight after opening at 1pm. Admission is HK$40. Half-price tickets are available for children aged 3 to 11, people aged 65 or over, full-time students and people with disabilities.
Three guided tasting routes will explore Cabernet Sauvignon, renowned wine regions and surprise pairings. Visitors can register at the venue, where more than 20 masterclasses and expert tasting sessions are also planned. The programme’s Hong Kong-inspired drinks include salted-fish milk-cap Bella Spritz and coriander golden lemon craft sake.
The board plans to follow the festival with Hong Kong Gourmet Month in November, when participating restaurants and bars will offer special dishes, experiences and dining promotions. Festival ticket-stub holders can use offers at selected restaurants, retailers and trade associations.
