The Labour Department has stopped processing Hong Kong-Shenzhen Vehicle Services Limited’s submitted applications to import drivers and will refuse its further applications under the Enhanced Supplementary Labour Scheme for two years.
The department said its investigation found that the company failed, without reasonable excuse, to interview an eligible local jobseeker as agreed and submitted false results from local open recruitment.
Employers using the scheme must give priority to suitable local workers. The sanction took effect on October 23, 2026.
