Man dies after rescue from sea off Kau Sai Chau

The man, estimated to be about 40, was taken unconscious to hospital after a sampan brought him ashore.

A man died after being rescued from the sea off Kau Sai Chau in the early hours of 15 October, HK01 and Star Headline reported. He was found floating in the water at about 2:42am.

A sampan brought him to Tso Wo Hang Pier. Unconscious, he was taken by ambulance to Tseung Kwan O Hospital for resuscitation.

He was pronounced dead at 3:49am. Police are investigating the incident.
