The High Court sentenced a man to seven years and one week in prison on 9 October 2026, after a jury convicted him of five sexual offences involving five women.
The convictions were for three indecent assaults, one rape and one count of voyeurism. The rape count carried six years; the indecent-assault terms were 18 months, 12 months and six months, while voyeurism drew three weeks.
In sentencing, the judge said both parties were adults and noted that the offending involved no violence or threats.
The offences took place between January and August 2023. One indecent assault occurred at Fei Ngo Shan. The rape took place at a Hong Kong Red Cross inter-school orientation camp in Yuen Long, while the remaining three offences took place at an orientation camp run by The Education University of Hong Kong.
For the rape sentence, the judge cited a trauma report which recorded moderate symptoms of depression and anxiety in the complainant.
