Police reported 89 arrests during a three-day operation across Hong Kong from October 4 to 6. Those arrested were aged 16 to 65. The operation targeted illegal activity involving triads and organised crime groups.
Four children were among those arrested.
Police said the operation involved more than 2,100 personnel deployments. Officers inspected 56 premises, including bars and restaurants, and searched 12. The operation disrupted unlicensed bars and drug-storage sites, police said.
The reported haul included about 25kg of etomidate powder and 203 etomidate cartridges. Police also reported seizing about 1.59kg of suspected methamphetamine, 805.9g of suspected cocaine powder, 444g of suspected crack cocaine and 12g of suspected herbal cannabis.
