Police seized about 18.6 kilograms of suspected ketamine, with an estimated market value of HK$6.6 million, during a search of a warehouse unit on Wai Yip Street in Kwun Tong.
The search took place on October 5 as part of an intelligence-led anti-drug operation. Police suspected the unit was being used to traffic and store dangerous drugs, and officers found the substance on a man and inside the premises.
The man was arrested on suspicion of trafficking in dangerous drugs and remained detained for investigation, police said.
