Staff at two Hong Kong media offices reported finding letters containing powder while opening mail on October 21.
The earlier report came from the HK01 office, where staff found a powder-containing letter and police officers attended to investigate.
At about 6pm, staff at an office on the third floor of a building at 7 Tin Wan Praya Road reported finding another suspicious letter containing powder. Ming Pao said offices of Ta Kung Pao and DotDotNews were on the third floor. The police Explosive Ordnance Disposal Bureau was handling the incident.
Police told HK01 they received the report at 6:21pm and classified the case as a request for police assistance.
