The modernisation of Jockey Club The Nexus Point for Rehab in Yuen Long is complete, with the centre able to serve 130 people with disabilities. Operated by Wai Ji Christian Service, it held its completion ceremony and an inclusive carnival on 10 October 2026.

The centre’s health-support programme creates personal health records for service users and offers activities covering exercise, nutrition and self-management. A team from a university rehabilitation-sciences department designed and delivers the programme, which forms part of a wider initiative. The Hong Kong Jockey Club Charities Trust donated more than HK$237 million to support modernisation at nine integrated vocational rehabilitation service centres.

Training facilities include a professional kitchen of about 600 square feet with a food-manufacturing-factory licence, rehabilitation technology for functional assessment and interactive training, and accessible equipment such as electric, height-adjustable tables. The centre also provides vocational rehabilitation, cognitive training and employment support.

A simulated café gives trainees practical experience in food preparation, customer service and retail operations.
