A taxi collided with an ambulance near the junction of Chatham Road North and Valley Road in Hung Hom at around 7pm to 7.30pm on August 27, 2026. No one was injured, according to reports.

The ambulance had completed an earlier assignment and was returning to its station. Reports said it was not carrying a patient or injured person when the collision occurred.

The ambulance’s rear bumper became detached after the crash. Debris was also reported to have fallen onto the road.

Some traffic lanes were closed during the incident, causing congestion in the area.

Police attended the scene and investigated the accident and its cause. The reports did not establish the precise time of the collision, the ambulance’s direction of travel or the cause determined by police.
