The Weeknd is scheduled to play four shows at Kai Tak Stadium on October 24, 25, 30 and 31. Security screening is due to open at 4pm each day, ahead of the 8.15pm start.
The venue expects travel to be busier on October 30, when other public events and a sports match are taking place in the sports park, alongside after-work arrivals. It advises attendees to plan their route, collect physical tickets in advance, travel light and allow extra time for travel, ticket checks and screening.
At the event organiser’s request, everyone entering must have their belongings checked and pass through a metal detector. Entry will be staggered by ticket type, so check the gate printed on your ticket. Standing-ticket holders can queue after screening in designated areas at Gates B and Y. Attendees should follow staff instructions and enter in orderly groups.
Restricted items include professional cameras, laptops, tablets, selfie sticks, tripods, binoculars, long umbrellas and light-emitting devices. Items larger than 38 × 30 × 20cm are also prohibited. Plastic or silicone bottles and cups of up to 600ml are allowed only without lids and without liquid. The published list is not exhaustive, so check the organiser’s latest rules before setting out.
Paid baggage storage is scheduled to operate from 3.30pm to 11.15pm at three locations: the 1M level of Kai Tak Arena near Central Plaza, outside the youth sports ground, and the cross-border coach area at Kai Tak Stadium. Charges depend on the item and its size; storing a long umbrella or water bottle costs HK$10 each. Allow time to queue and retrieve belongings.
The venue recommends public transport. For connections to Lo Wu on the East Rail Line via Tai Wai, the last trains leave at 10.59pm from the MTR station near the west bridge and 11.01pm from the station at Kai Tak.
