Two people were injured when a light goods vehicle, taxi and private car collided on Cheung Tung Road near a seawater pumping station around 3pm on 4 October 2026.
The taxi driver and the driver of the light goods vehicle were reportedly trapped after the crash but remained conscious when they were rescued. The injured people were taken to Princess Margaret Hospital and North Lantau Hospital for treatment.
The section of Cheung Tung Road near the pumping station was temporarily closed in both directions. DB03R and DB03P resident bus services were diverted while the closure was in place.
Police were investigating the cause of the collision.
