Two safes missing after Shau Kei Wan burglary, with contents worth about HK$830,000

A 67-year-old woman reported a burglary at her home on Kam Wa Street in Shau Kei Wan on 14 October. Police found two safes missing.

The safes reportedly contained about HK$650,000 in cash, a watch valued at about HK$120,000, jewellery worth about HK$60,000, certificates and documents. Star Headline reported the total value of the missing property as about HK$830,000 and identified the watch as a Rolex.

HK01 reported that three male suspects wore helmets and masks during the burglary, and that no one had been arrested at the time of its report. Police classified the case as burglary.
