A Yingge team is scheduled to parade through Kowloon City from 4pm on October 24 and 25 as part of Chill Night Market 4.0.
The market will run from October 23 to 25 at Carpenter Road Park Soccer Pitch, with more than 50 stalls. It is scheduled to open from 4pm to 9pm on October 23, and from noon to 9pm on October 24 and 25.
Visitors can join workshops on kung fu tea and red peach cake, alongside other Chaoshan cultural activities. A section on Qiaopi will display historical material and recreate a remittance agency. These letters paired family correspondence with money transfers; visitors will be able to write their own.
Participating local restaurants will offer food promotions and discounts. Customers can claim a discount by showing a receipt for a purchase made on the day of the event.
