Abby Choi’s murder trial was adjourned on its 13th day at the High Court on Friday, October 9.

The judge told the jury that a legal issue needed to be dealt with. Lawyers needed time to study it and obtain a court ruling. Before the court opened to the public, a private hearing was held. The media were not allowed to report details of the legal issue.

The jury was told to return on Monday. The court continued dealing with the legal issue that afternoon.
