A private car struck a checkpoint booth barrier in the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge area at 1.17am on November 2 and drove off, police said.
Police later pursued the car in Tuen Mun after it failed to stop when officers tried to intercept it.
Reports describing online footage said the car broke through a police cordon near Hoi Wing Road and Hoi Wong Road before turning onto Hoi Wong Road.
Police said they stopped the car on Hoi Wong Road at 11.08am. A 32-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving.
