A 30-year-old man died after collapsing during an outing at Crescent Island on September 26.
He collapsed at about 1pm while travelling with a 24-person group. The Government Flying Service flew him, unconscious, to Pamela Youde Nethersole Eastern Hospital, where he received resuscitation treatment.
He was certified dead at 3:28pm.
The Hong Kong Observatory had issued a heat warning at 6:45am that morning, which remained in effect during the outing. The cause of his collapse and death remained under investigation.
