A man found trapped at a floodgate in a floodwater catchment area beside Siu Hong Station was confirmed dead after rescuers recovered him on September 28.
Police received a report about someone in the area at about 2pm to 2:30pm. Rescue workers found the man trapped at the floodgate and brought him out.
Ambulance personnel examined him and confirmed that he was already dead. Police were investigating the cause of the incident.
