Man found uninjured after reported threat to jump at Tsz Wan Shan Shopping Centre

Police and firefighters attended after a woman reported her distressed son wanted to jump, and he was taken to hospital for assessment.

Police received a report at 9:58am on September 25 that a woman’s son, aged about 40, was distressed and had said he wanted to jump because of financial problems. Officers went to Tsz Wan Shan Shopping Centre and found him without injuries.

Police and firefighters attended, and the man was found near a ball court. He was taken by ambulance to Queen Elizabeth Hospital for assessment, accompanied by his mother.
