Members of the public rescued a 66-year-old swimmer from the water after a suspected drowning at a beach on Lung Mun Road, Tuen Mun, at about noon on 18 September 2026. He remained unconscious when emergency personnel arrived.

The man, who was surnamed Li, was taken to Tuen Mun Hospital for treatment after police and rescue personnel attended the scene.

Police classified the case as a person drowning, and the cause remained under investigation.
