A 35-year-old motorcyclist died shortly after midnight on October 8 after a collision with an oncoming truck on Route Twisk, Star Headline and HK01 reported. The crash happened at 9.26pm on October 7 near Shek Kong Tsuen, as the rider travelled towards Tsuen Wan.
The truck’s side mirror struck the motorcycle, causing the rider to fall. He was taken by ambulance to Pok Oi Hospital, where he died.
Police were searching for the driver. HK01 reported that no one had been arrested by the time of its report. The motorcyclist’s friend appealed on social media for dashcam footage or information about the truck.
