Police arrested two men in separate parts of Yau Tsim on 22 September during an operation targeting the illegal driving of electric mobility devices.
A 25-year-old man was arrested in Tsim Sha Tsui and a 44-year-old man in Yau Ma Tei. Both were detained for investigation, police said.
The men were suspected of driving without valid licences, using vehicles without third-party insurance, driving unregistered and unlicensed vehicles and driving motorcycles without approved protective helmets.
Police photographs indicated that the two vehicles involved were electric motorcycles.
Police said the driving posed a serious threat to other road users. The Yau Tsim district police unit said it would continue related enforcement operations to protect community and road safety.
