Police issued 27 fixed-penalty notices after detecting multiple speeding vehicles during a targeted operation on Tuen Mun Road on 22 September.
Officers from the Traffic New Territories North Region used drones alongside laser speed guns to identify vehicles travelling above the speed limit.
Police said their analysis of traffic conditions on expressways in the area found that many traffic accidents stemmed from speeding. A driver convicted of speeding may be disqualified from driving for six months and fined HK$5,000.
Enforcement on expressways in the region will continue, with particular attention to high-risk offences during morning peak periods.
