Police said they found more than 69kg of suspected cannabis flower in an iron-sheet shed in Pang Loon Tei, San Tin, during an operation on October 25. The total drugs seized in the operation were valued at about HK$14.5 million.
The shed was suspected of being used to store cannabis flower. Officers also found a large quantity of suspected drug-packaging tools inside.
Police stopped a 59-year-old local man near the shed and found five packets containing about 10 grams of suspected cannabis flower and a key to the shed.
The man was provisionally charged with two counts of trafficking in dangerous drugs and was due to appear at Fanling Magistrates' Courts on the morning of October 26.
