Police said they arrested a 23-year-old mainland Chinese man after searching his unit in an industrial building on Sha Tsui Road, Tsuen Wan, and finding suspected drugs with an estimated street value of about HK$450,000.
The seizure included about 745 grams of suspected ketamine, about 202 grams of suspected cocaine and 132 suspected etomidate vape cartridges. Officers also found electronic scales and transparent resealable bags, described in police information as suspected drug-packaging equipment.
Tsuen Wan Police District's special duties team said it launched the anti-drug operation at about 6pm on 17 September after an investigation. During the operation, officers stopped a man in the building and searched the unit where he lived.
Ming Pao reported that the man was being detained for investigation on suspicion of trafficking in dangerous drugs.
