A fire in a fifth-floor flat at Richland Gardens sent two residents to hospital in the early hours of November 4.
The fire broke out at about 3.15am in Block 22. Roughly 150 to 200 residents left their flats and went downstairs, with some taking pets. Firefighters largely extinguished the blaze by 4.28am.
A 63-year-old man suffered burns to his hands and feet, while a 35-year-old woman was taken to hospital after inhaling smoke and feeling unwell. Firefighters also helped a resident on the 10th floor who was waving a towel from a window.
A preliminary investigation pointed to an overheated electrical plug as the cause of the fire.
