Rolex worth about HK$160,000 reported missing from Tsim Sha Tsui hotel

A Rolex worth about HK$160,000 was reported missing from a hotel room in Tsim Sha Tsui.

Police received the report at about 4pm on September 22 from a 31-year-old American man, who said the watch had disappeared from his room at The Ritz-Carlton, Hong Kong, on 1 Austin Road West. HK01 reported that he had entered Hong Kong using a passport.

After a preliminary investigation, police classified the case as theft and assigned it to a criminal investigation team in the Yau Tsim Police District. No arrest had been made when the reports were published.
