A 44-year-old bar employee surrendered to police in Tsim Sha Tsui on 24 September and was arrested after a male employee was found dead outside the premises earlier that morning.
Police received a report at about 1.38am that the man had collapsed outside on Hanoi Road. Emergency personnel attended and confirmed him dead at the scene. Police said he had reportedly collapsed inside a bar on Carnarvon Road before being moved outside.
Investigators believe a male and female employee carried him from the bar to the street on a chair, after which the woman left. Police had already arrested a 28-year-old male employee, who was suspected of preventing the lawful burial of a body, operating a drug den, trafficking dangerous drugs and failing to produce proof of identity.

Police said officers found about 50 grams of suspected cocaine, drug-taking paraphernalia and approximately HK$82,000 in cash inside the bar. She remained detained while the Yau Tsim district serious-crime investigation team continued examining the death and suspected drug activity.
