Six people were injured when a 278X bus operated by The Kowloon Motor Bus Co. (1933) Ltd collided with a truck in Fanling at about 10am on September 24, 2026. The bus was travelling towards Tai Po on Tai Wo Service Road East.
The injured passengers were four women and one man. The bus driver reported a headache and discomfort, while nobody in the truck was injured.
Rescuers treated the injured at the scene, and some were later taken to North District Hospital for further treatment. Police were investigating the cause of the collision.
