Taxi driver arrested after six-year-old girl hurt in Sheung Shui

A six-year-old girl suffered head and foot injuries when a taxi travelling towards Fanling hit her as she crossed Sha Tau Kok Road in Sheung Shui at about 5pm on 31 October.

She was conscious when emergency responders arrived and was taken to Prince of Wales Hospital for treatment.

Police arrested the 44-year-old driver on suspicion of dangerous driving causing serious bodily harm.
