A dump truck collided with a New Territories taxi on Wong Chu Road in Tuen Mun at about 8.25am on 23 September, leaving the taxi driver injured and conscious.
The taxi came to rest across the fast lane after the crash. An initial report said the driver was trapped inside the vehicle while rescue personnel attended the scene.
Police were investigating the cause of the collision.
