Three people were injured when a Food and Environmental Hygiene Department minibus lost control while turning as it descended from the second floor of a car park in Kwun Tong at about 8am on 22 September. It struck a wall at 51 Hung To Road.
The minibus was preparing to leave for official duties with its 66-year-old driver and four Hawker Control Team staff members aboard. The injured occupants were two male staff members, aged 25 and 46, and the driver.
All three suffered hand and foot injuries. One staff member had a nosebleed, while the driver reported chest discomfort. They were taken by ambulance to United Christian Hospital for treatment.
The impact shattered the left-front windscreen and the left passenger-side window. The vehicle’s left front was also damaged and dented. Police are investigating what caused the minibus to lose control.
