A tourist boat near the Hung Hom waterfront on Cheung Wan Road was reported taking on water and overturning shortly before 2pm on September 12.
Firefighters secured the overturned vessel with ropes and sent divers into the water to search it. The search found no one trapped or injured.
Ming Pao reported that two small boats beside the tourist vessel had also sunk. The tourist boat had reportedly been moored at the waterfront for more than a month.
After the search, firefighters left and police were to contact the relevant boat owner, Ming Pao reported.
