A 69-year-old woman died at 9.36am after being found unconscious near the shore at Clear Water Bay Second Beach in Sai Kung, HK01 and Scoop Plus reported.
She had gone swimming with her husband, and other swimmers found her lying unconscious near the shore. Police received a report at 7.18am on Monday and she was taken to Tseung Kwan O Hospital.
Police classified the case as drowning and are investigating.
