A woman reported being attacked by several people inside a building at 731-733 Nathan Road in Mong Kok at about 3pm on 16 September. The attackers had reportedly fled by the time police arrived, leaving her with a forehead injury.
The police incident account said four or five people were involved and that one was carrying a knife. The wound was about 3cm long, and the woman remained conscious.
She received initial treatment and bandaging before boarding an ambulance herself for treatment at Kwong Wah Hospital.
Police classified the case as wounding and were investigating the incident while tracing those involved.
Star Headline reported, citing information from the scene, that the incident may have involved a money dispute. The cause remained under investigation.
