A woman was rescued unconscious from a flat fire in Tin Shui Wai and taken to Tin Shui Wai Hospital. About 100 residents evacuated.
The fire broke out in a flat in Block 14 of Locwood Court, part of Kingswood Villas, at about 5.30pm. Firefighters extinguished it roughly half an hour later, and residents gradually returned to their homes.
The Fire Services Department’s preliminary assessment, reported by Commercial Radio, suspected miscellaneous items had caught fire and found no suspicious circumstances. The cause remained under investigation.
