A middle-aged woman was left unconscious after being struck by a heavy truck carrying concrete on Kam Tin Road at about 8.30am on 23 September 2026.
An ambulance took the woman to Pok Oi Hospital for emergency treatment. HK01 later reported that she was transferred to Tuen Mun Hospital.
The truck driver said at the scene that he was travelling through a green light and that the woman crossed the road from right to left. A shoe believed to belong to her was left at the scene, and the driver assisted police. Police were investigating the cause of the collision.
